HARAMAYA FARMERS’ COOPERATIVE UNION (LTD)
Haramaya Farmers Cooperative Union (HFCO) was voluntarily established on december 17, 2000 by 7 primary cooperatives which have 400 members with initial share capital of 490,687.44 Ethiopia birr to solve socio economic problem of members beyond the capacity of primary farmer’s cooperatives.
At present
The number of primary cooperatives affiliated to the Union are 157. which makes the members 125,716 (106,376 males and 19,340females), and the union capital was increased to 349,404,930.87 ETB.

The union was established to solve socio economic problem of members which is beyond the capacity of primary farmer’s cooperatives
